Wendy T. Linscott passed away on April 21, 2022. You may read her obituary here.

Wendy T. Linscott grew up in Berkshire County and received her B.A. with honors in 1969 from Wellesley College. She earned her law degree in 1979 from The University of Connecticut Law School and became a founding member of the firm of Lamme and Linscott in 1980.

From 1988-1994, she was a member of the Town of Egremont Planning Board, and she currently serves as a Trustee of The Berkshire Natural Resources Council, The Egremont Land Trust, and The Berkshire Botanical Garden. Additionally, she is a member of the Ethics Committee of Fairview Hospital. Her past board memberships include Community Health Programs, Edith Wharton Restoration, Berkshire Choral Festival, Southern Berkshire Visiting Nurse Association, Lenox Club and Berkshire County Wellesley Club.


James M. Lamme III

James M. Lamme III passed away on  February 18, 2021. You may reach his obituary here.

James M. Lamme III a native of Colorado, graduated from Harvard College with honors in 1968, and, after serving two years in the U.S. Army, earned his law degree from The University of Colorado Law School in 1974.

For over 35 years, James was active in the local community, serving as Town Moderator for the towns of New Marlborough (1976-1986) and Egremont (1974-1976 and 1987-2004) and as counsel to The Southern Berkshire Regional School District from 1989-1997. He served on numerous non-profit boards including Children’s Health Program, Lenox Club, Eagle Fund, Barrington Stage Company and Railroad Street Youth Project. He was a volunteer tutor with the Southern Berkshire Literacy Network and an alumni interviewer for Harvard College.
